WHAT IS UX RESEARCH?

UX research covers a wide range of innovative digital methodologies applied to product development to add greater meaning and context to the creative design process. Unlike many other disciplines of design, UX research didn’t evolve out of any other existing field or disciplines. The discipline actually evolved out of efforts to improve the ability of human users, specifically those involved in the creative process, to navigate the various interfaces that user interface designers face when designing products for corporate environments.

Research helps us learn from our mistakes and rectify them in real time. In the designing process, we make mistakes and then attempt to justify those mistakes in our applications and interfaces. It is only when these mistakes are exposed that we can make adjustments to our approach and enhance the user experience and that’s where UX research comes in.

UX Research has become an integral part of the designer and developer landscape – it is both a descriptive and prescriptive tool. It enables us to measure progress over time, to learn from our mistakes, and to create better interfaces for our users. In order to understand the user research landscape, it’s important to remember two distinctions. One is between descriptive research methods and prescriptive ones and the second is between qualitative and quantitative research methods.

WHY US?

At Creative Designx, our approaches to UX Research methods are not mutually exclusive. The use of surveys and quantitative methods perfectly provides our designers with more accurate insights on UX. Our surveys not only collect qualitative data, but they also allow our designers and developers to make users understand their preferences as well as provide an opportunity to address their issues. Thus, our UX Research methods offer great opportunities for gaining valuable usability insights from the users needs and helps create astonishing designs.
